Meri Bassai is popular program broadcast from Nepal Television on Every Tuesday. This program is popular of its unique village character of all actors. From the beginning, Nepali audience like it very much. Dhurmus(Sitaram Kattel) is one of the multi-talented actor. He was knows as a Dhurmus at first but latter he got popularity from the character name Khadka Ji and Muskan Paasaa as well.
Other character Surbir Pandit(Daari Buda) of the experienced actor in this Comedy TV program. He has acted several films and serial and much more in Radio Drama specially in Radio Nepal.
Kunjana Ghimire (Suntali) is also one of the popular and major charater of this program. Sitaram and Kunjana is real life partner as well. The relation was developed while they were working with Meri Bassai.
Other major charters Magne Budho and Takme Budho have left the team and new Character Hanumane and Mangali has joined the team.
